Birth Center

The Birth Center

Redding Birth Center was established in 2018, under Redding Midwifery Group, to provide a safe, middle-ground option for families desiring a birth in the out of hospital setting. This is also ideal for those who live further from the hospital and would like to be in town in case of transport.

The birth suite is fully equipped with options for water birth, free movement throughout labor, showering, and intermittent fetal monitoring.

Labors in the birth center are attended by Redding Midwifery midwives, or any of the licensed midwives in the area who have privileges to deliver at the facility.

Doulas and birth photographers are always welcome.

The birth center has a waiting area for family and friends, and the kitchen is fully equipped for you to bring food for yourselves and your birth team.
